Leah Roth

Hey There! I’m Leah and I’m glad you’re here.

 

I’m studying Art Education at Kansas State University. Preparing for an exciting life in service! I love all art mediums and can’t wait to spend my career exploring them!

       I grew up in Lyons (a small town in Central Kansas) with my Mom, Dad, and two older sisters; where I learned the importance of dedication/hard work, a passion for life and  moments of hysterical laughter.

       I’ve always had a passion for service and when my Mom passed away from Leukemia I knew I not only wanted to positively impact the lives of those affected by cancer but the lives of young minds, through education. I multiply my passion through the American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Team in Training and through my sorority’s own philanthropies by donating my time and services to Alzheimer’s and Gerontology, Inherit the Earth, and the Maine Sea Coast Mission.

       I believe that we all seem to be waiting (at least from what I’ve experienced) for something to come to us before we can move on in time: for me? It’s knowing that I’ve made a positive difference in at least one persons’ life. I like to think that one small act of random kindness can change the world; and I intend on doing just that.
